It's really fun to take a break sometimes and do small quick studies. No pressure, just having a good time moving the paint around. I just tape a piece of scrap canvas to a board and go at it. The cropped version is about 9.5 x 13 or so.

your paintings are excellent, not only your style, composition, and color but you have very good taste. I see other good artists, but their composition is terrible, they add too many distracting and tacky things. people on their portraits, are placed totally unnatural. I think you are above all this mistakes. I have watched your video, it already has taught me a lot, further ahead I will buy it. I would like to know what oil paintings do you prefer, what medium do you use etc. Very cincerely Rosa M. Frank
